- "Every individual shall have the right to the respect of the dignity inherent in a human being and to be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. In particular, no one shall be subjected without his free consent to medical or scientific experimentation." (ICCPR - 7). "All persons deprived of their liberty shall be treated with humanity and with perspect for the inherent dignity of the human person." (ICCPR - 10.1)
- «Nul sera soumis à la torture, ni à des peines ou traitements cruels, inhumains ou dégradants. En particulier, il est interdit de soumettre une personne sans son libre consentement à une expérience médicale ou scientifique.» (PIDCP - 7). «Toute personne privée de sa liberté est traitée avec le respect de la dignité inhérente à la personne humaine.» (PIDCP - 10.1).
