This file consists of an oral history interview with Chris (Christopher) Vogel, and associated documents. The interview was conducted by Elise Chenier, with videographer Jessica Sigurdson, on November 14, 2010.

Mr. Vogel speaks about:
• His family and growing up in Regina, Saskatchewan.
• His move to Winnipeg, early gay crushes and coming out as a gay man in the 1960s.
• Meeting Rich (Richard) North and their long-term relationship, their marriage ceremony in 1974, their application for marriage being rejected by the Province of Manitoba and the interview on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC)’s “As It Happens” with Barbara Frum.
• The concept of marriage and relationships, and how theirs progressed over the years.
