In 2011, when Collections moved to the Design + New Media department (later called Design + New Media & Collections), the Research, Content and Scholarship department name was then changed to Research and Curation.

This file consists of an oral history interview with Morris Faintuch, and associated documents. The interview was conducted by Clint Curle on August 31, 2011.
Mr. Faintuch speaks about:
• He and his family’s experiences as Jewish shop owners in Poland when Germany invaded in 1939.
• He and his family’s experiences during the Holocaust with the Nazis, Gestapo, camps and living in a ghetto.
• How he survived the Birkenau (Auschwitz II) concentration camp in Poland with Dr. Mengele, and his liberation from the Mauthausen concentration camp in Austria.
• His life in Winnipeg, his work speaking to students about his Holocaust experience, and why it is important to talk about the Holocaust.
Mr. Faintuch speaks about:
